Olympic logo designer writes in the Vancouver Sun – Feb 2010
In the run weeks prior to the 2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver graphic designer Elena Rivera MacGregor received many questions from friends and colleagues on the inukshuk logo she designed for the Games and what it meant. We worked with Elena to help author an article explaining how the inukshuk represented the very best of Canada. Her article, entitled “Why the Inukshuk represents the heart of Canada was published on the Vancouver Sun op-ed pages on February 3, 2010.

In a recent publicity campaign for Copper Mountain Mining Corporation (TSX:CUM), a pitch to leading newspapers led to significant coverage, as well as an interview on the Business News Network (BNN).
The Globe & Mail included Copper Mountain in a story on B.C.’s economic future, the Vancouver Sun used the mine as the first example in a story on B.C.’s mining future and Business in Vancouver’s 100 Mile Investor had an article on the mine. BNN also interviewed CEO Jim O’Rourke. Global BC’s News Hour with Tony Parsons profiled the company as a leading part of a lengthy feature on BC’s resurgent mining industry. Copper Mountain clearly had a great story: our work involved leveraging that story into media coverage.
